Three places a subscription can live
- App Store. Cancel: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → PolyBuzz. This still works even if you can no longer find the app in the store: as of 22.10.2026 “PolyBuzz: Chat with Characters” is not listed in any of six storefronts we checked, but a subscription bought earlier is cancelled where it was bought. Details on the app page.
- Google Play. Cancel: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PolyBuzz.
- Website. polybuzz.ai/my-subscription opens only after signing in (Apple, Google or e-mail); logged out it shows neither prices nor buttons, so what cancelling looks like inside is not verified.
The Terms of Use state a user is not entitled to a refund for a completed purchase without due cause. For store purchases the decision belongs to Apple or Google under their own rules.
Steps
- Find the receipt: it names the payer — Apple, Google or the website's payment provider.
- Cancel in that exact place, before the renewal date.
- Deleting the app cancels nothing if the subscription belongs to a store.
- Spend the coins you already paid for: they are a separate balance from the subscription.
If the reason is the ads
The most common complaint in recent reviews is the ad load: an ad every 10–50 messages and another when you leave a chat, with the ad-free experience sold as the paid tier. Cancelling brings the ads back in full.
The case for PolyBuzz
A huge free catalogue if you can live with the ads, and the coins model gives a way to pay without a subscription.
The case for HoneyChat
HoneyChat shows no ads on any plan, including the free one: 20 messages and 3 images a day, then monthly plans from $4.99.
